THE OUTDOOR AMBASSADOR SEASON IS HERE!!

We are SO excited that we are now photographing all of the outdoor photographs for our 2013 ambassadors! The great thing about coming to KSP is the variety of sets, uniqueness, and props that we bring in to every session- indoor or outdoor. We love giving each senior something new! Another great thing about coming to our studio is that everything is right in our backyard! Take a look at some of our favorite outdoor sessions & get ready to have a blast outside with us! :)

Ambassador Spotlight—–> Meet Lake Channel

We loved having Lake here in the studio! He is extremely photogenic & really made the best of his session with Jill! We love his images- especially the ones including his sports gear! Can’t wait to have you back in for your outdoor session!

Ambassador Spotlight—–> Marissa Klein

When I first met Marissa at the ambassador meetings in January, she let me know that she wanted to bring her friend Justice along to join in on some of her pictures. Little did I know how memorable that session would  become. Marissa has the kindest personality– and the way that she and Justice interact is just heart-warming. I asked Marissa to explain her relationship with Justice so others would be encouraged. Enjoy!

“We first met three and half years ago at “Team Up”, a baseball program Justice’s parents set up for children that had disabilities. As a “buddy” I helped kids bat, throw balls, and run the bases. It was such an amazing and eye opening experience to be able to help the children learn and grow. It changed me as much as I could see it changed them. From there, I met Michelle, Justice’s mother, who since has become another mother figure to me. It’s so crazy to think that it could have been any of the other “buddies” who helped that year, but I was lucky enough to be the one that walked away as Justice’s babysitter. It’s funny because now I have become like their daughter- it’s a blessing. Once I talked to Michelle, she asked me to start babysitting him on occasion when her and her husband had plans, and from there it just fell into place. Justice is such an amazing, amazing little boy. He has truly changed my life. He is so happy ALL of the time & makes me feel loved. When nothing else seems to be going my way,  all I have to do is hear him say, “I love you, Rissa”, and everything seems to be better. We have the best of memories together, and it’s the little things that we share that make it precious. He loves The Wizard of Oz, so we pretend that I am the Tin man and he’s the Scarecrow- our roles seem to never change, but we are happy to invite other “characters” in to join. Movies are what make him “tick”. If it is one of his favorite movies, you better believe he can sing every song and act out every word. He can be a handful at times, but he can make my heart melt every time I am with him. He is just an incredible little boy.”

Ambassador Spotlight —->Meet Shelby McFarland

This week on our senior spotlight, we want to introduce you to Shelby McFarland from the class of 2013 from Amanda Clearcreek. Shelby has the sweetest personality, but wasn’t scared to let her personality shine in front of the camera! We had a blast with you Shelby, and we hope you had a blast too!! :)
